30 Identical Movies That Could be Twins

These movies are all similar in more than one way, sometimes with near identical plots, but always with the same idea

It is hardly surprising that Hollywood would be keen to cash in on the good ideas used for movie projects, which is why where there is a great idea for a movie, typically two studios will undertake a similar movie project, incorporating the same idea, and sometimes even with the same plot.

Typically, these near movie twins will be released either within the same year as one another, or within a year after the others release. Hollywood clearly likes the idea of recycling the old movies, with an entire flood of remakes, doing one two many sequels and prequels, and to top-off Hollywood's addiction to recycling, they also on occasion use the same movie idea to create two (or, sometimes more) movies.

Going through the stages since movies first became a thing of existence, we have collected all of the identical movie twins that we could find. Here they are.
